When does my coverage start?
Coverage begins after the 60-day verification period from the date of purchase. Once verification is complete, your full 12-month protection activates.
Why is there a 60-day verification period?
This period ensures the vehicle was in good working condition before joining the plan. It protects all customers by preventing misuse and keeps DriveBeyond fair and sustainable.
Do I pay first?
Yes. Payment activates your application and sends you to the page where you provide your vehicle details. If anything doesn’t meet eligibility requirements, we’ll contact you. If you are not eligible, you will receive a refund.
How many claims can I make?
One claim per plan term, up to £12,000.
Do you cover wear and tear?
No. Coverage applies to failure of the main high-voltage battery only.
Will more vehicles be added in the future?
Yes — we plan to expand our supported vehicle list as we grow.
Is paying yearly better than monthly?
Many customers prefer yearly payments because of the discounted price and convenience of not worrying about monthly billing.
Is my vehicle registration needed?
Yes, we use it to identify and verify your vehicle.
How do I cancel my warranty?
You can use the cancellation form on our website or email us at
drivebeyondhelp@gmail.com.
Do I have to provide battery health evidence?
Yes, a Battery SoH report or diagnostic screenshot is required before your plan can fully activate.
How do I send my Battery SoH image or file?
Simply email it to drivebeyondhelp@gmail.com using the same email you used to sign up.
What happens if I don’t send my SoH or ownership file?
Without this information, we may not be able to validate future claims, as we won’t have proof of the battery’s condition at the start of your plan.
Does it matter how the SoH file is sent?
Any clear screenshot or document is fine, as long as it is sent from your sign-up email.
Does a failed MOT affect my warranty?
Only if the failure relates to the high-voltage battery or electric drivetrain. Otherwise, your warranty remains valid.
Is email or the cancellation form better?
Either option works — choose whichever is easier for you.
If I have a personalised registration, which one should I enter?
Use your current registration — the one currently assigned to your vehicle.
Does the repair garage need to provide proof?
Yes. A diagnostic report or invoice from an EV-qualified garage is required for claim approval.
Does your warranty offer more mileage coverage than competitors?
Yes — DriveBeyond continues protection up to 160,000 miles, which is higher than many standard offerings.
